The Sound Planetarium Project

The Sound Planetarium project is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the University of Colorado, Boulder and the University of California, San Diego, exploring the synthesis of art and astronomical science in visualization, conceptualization, and education across sense modalities.

TRAPPIST-1 VR Installation premeire at the TRAPPIST-1 Conference

Adam Burgasser & Kevin Sweet presented the first iteration of the TRAPPIST-1 VR installation at the first TRAPPIST-1 conference, held in Liege, Belgium in 2019. 

Sound Planetarium installation at the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Expo

Sound Planetarium was invited to present at the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Expo in Washington, DC to present both our live sound planetarium and first VR demostrations.
